Blog #2 Part 2

The image that I am writing about is my blog buddy's first assignment, the circle, rectangle, and line project. She does a good job representing dominance in shapes and negative space. For our projects, we both used images that described ourselves. Hers, however, is a lot more easier to understand, than mine. I like the variety of pictures that are used. It clearly shows her personality and interests, as well. I think that if she mixed the objects together more and not kept them to the sides, it would be more visually appealing. I learned later on that the objects need to "party," as well as the shapes to be from the sizes of the crumb of a french fry to a dump truck. That is also what my piece lacked.

Her images are what make the piece interesting. I think that if there wasn't so many different pictures it wouldn't be so busy, but they help the piece and and you get a full understanding of what she is all about. I think that she did a better job than what I did. It is an overall good piece, for what the assignment required. I now have a better understanding of the concept of what the circle, rectangle, and line is about.
